China is a time capsule: ancient cultures and modern miracles in eight short days. The mysteries of The Great Wall, The Forbidden City and the Entombed Warriors are there to be discovered along side the amazing New China in Shanghai and Beijing.

Start in Beijing, where you explore Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall. Fly to Xi'an, home to the terracotta army guarding the tomb of Qin Shi Huangdi. Xi'an was the largest city in the world during the Tang dynasty (618-907).Your journey through China concludes in Shanghai,the most morden city in China.

Day 1 Arriving Beijing
After arriving in Beijing, you will be met and transferred you to your Hotel. The guide will give you tips on local restaurants that we recommend and shopping in streets nearby. The rest of the day is free to rest to recover from jetlag or explore Beijing on your own.

Day2 Fobidden City and Tian'anmen Square Temple of Heaven 20km
Ride around Tian'anmen Square and the outside of Zhongnanhai (residence of current president), Forbidden City, National Theater ,Great Hall of the People, MaoZedong Mausoleum, visit palace museum and temple of Heaven Park and ancient streets and Pearl market,and If there is time we can take in a few sights such as Beijing Opera.

Day3 Hutong & Olympic Park Bike Tour 10km
Pick up from capital airport and transfer to hotel, have a easy ride around the Hutongs

Day4 Great Wall Biking and Hiking 30km
we will cycle from Miyun to Gubeikou for a more natural setting with the opportunity to hike the wall away from the masses. Hike Great Wall between Simatai and Jinshanling.and spend the night at the base of Simatai Great Wall site.

Day5 Summer Palace
The Summer Palace is equally famous as the Forbidden City. It is the best preserved and the largest imperial garden in China. A much-loved summer retreat of the Imperial families, the beautifully landscaped gardens, halls, pavilions and corridors are designed to be in harmony with the lake and rivers in which they are set. We will ride around the Summer Palace and visit inside,after lunch we transfer to train station or airpaort for Xian.

Day6 Xian Terra Cotta warriors
After breakfast in the hotel, set off to the incredible 2000 year-old Terra cotta warriors. The group will visit the Terracotta Warriors by motor vehicle.
Later, drive to the Muslim sector. A 500 meters long avenue paved with bluestones is dotted with unique stalls, souvenir shops, café and bars.
Day7 Xian City Wall Biking 14km
Explore the city wall by bike in the morning. The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest and most complete city defenses still in existence. Built in the 13th century on the foundations of the original Tang Forbidden City, it surrounds the city center. Walk, rent a bike around the full 14km circuit, which has great views of the city on either side. The group will fly to Shanghai, China's most modern city and home to 18 million people.

Day 8 Shanghai 15km
City bike tour in Shanghai old town , the Bund, Yu Garden, Shanghai Museum. Evening Huangpu River,the old colonial sector, which is home to a myriad of European-styled buildings that face the Huangpu River.

Day 9 Shanghai
Transfer to the airport ready for your departure.

The prices are for double occupancy rooms,and will vary depending on the number of people who participate,if there is just one traveler,single occupancy supplement will be applied by default. This tour is limited to no more than 12 people. This will permit more flexibility in the program and allow more spontaneity for taking photos or exploring villages along the way.
